Ryan Thomas
Media Arts Coordinator
My name is Ryan Thomas. I have been serving at Prince Street Church since 2017. I began my journey here as the Music Director and transitioned into my current role as Media Arts Coordinator in 2019. I am the father of two great kids, Katelynn and Evan. As for hobbies, I enjoy smoking meats, watching football, and most importantly, music. I have been playing drums since I was 10 years old, which is where my passion for music started. I began playing guitar an bass later in my teen years. I grew up within the Methodist Church and accepted Jesus as my savior when I was about 13 years old. My mother was the youth choir director growing up, so I began my love for contemporary music there. From there, I was part of starting contemporary worship within that church along with beginning to learn to run sound at the age of 14. I began at PSC in 2011 and feel that my journey, musically, has prepared me to take on the role of Media Arts Coordinator. I have worked with many wonderful mentors over the years to help share the knowledge of this always-changing craft and I love what I do.
